Looking Forward to Hospital Visits

We have an impending hospital visit. But it's not time to tell Casey. Last week, we were planning on going to the hospital and, on the morning of the visit when we rechecked Casey's bloodcounts, we had to stay home because the platelets went down from the previous day. He was so disappointed. He kept asking for the next few days when we were going to see his friends at the hospital. As sad as it is, Casey's only friends outside of family are at the hospital. He loves the nurses and the staff at the playroom. They work hard to make the hospital as much fun as it can be for the patients. And it works. Hopefully we will be able to go to the hospital this time because that means we will be one week closer to the end of his treatment.
